Help My 4 Yr Old Daughter Fight Liver Failure Needs Re-Liver Transplant At The Earliest - Donate- Anvika

Anvika is now 4 years old but has not had an opportunity to make friends, play freely, or go to play schools. 

Hospitals, medicines, infections have been her life so far, since her liver infection when she was barely 1.5 years old. It’s a miracle this little child still remembers to smile and makes use of every opportunity to make others smile too. 

Almost two years back, Anvika went through her first Liver transplant, with my wife, Anvika’s mother being the donor. We thought the worst is behind us. How wrong were we. I have shared the painful details of how things didn’t work well resulting in the need for another transplant. 

My wife and I had to hold on strongly to fading rays of hope, digging deep for joy in the rare but precious smile and laughter of our only child. Every life on watch deserves a chance and our little child who is barely four, needs that chance. We need your support towards what we understand will be the life-changing surgery for Anvika.

My name is Venkat, and I am raising funds for my daughter ANVIKA who underwent Living Donor Liver Transplant surgery for Acute Fulminant Liver Failure on 04/08/2020 but few months later she underwent another surgery Hepaticojejunostomy for Anastomotic Biliary Stricture on 07/11/2020. Despite Re-do Hepaticojejunostomy, she continued to have recurrent episodes of cholangitis for which a PTBD was done followed by biliary stenting. Despite all those procedures, she continues to have pruritus, recurrent cholangitis, and poor physical growth. Hence she has been advised Re-Liver Transplant at the earliest, she is undergoing treatment at Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai.

 Doctors have estimated the cost of the transplant as ~ INR 30 Lakhs (~ USD 36,049). I've attached the Doctor's recommendation and the estimate for the transplant, should you need more details. 

Arranging for this huge sum of money for the Re-Liver transplant procedure is beyond my powers, and I'm starting this campaign with the hope of raising as much money as possible to save my daughter.
